Costa Brava coast is just a quick 20 minute drive from Castell D'Emporda. There are many small and stunning coastal towns along Costa Brava that would make fantastic day trips. We visited Begur and Cadaques which are both beautiful! Begur is a smaller mountain town with lovely streets and stunning views. There is also a coastal part of Begur which has small beaches and rocky cliffs. Cadaques is further away, and has a stunning white coastal town, with shops, cafes, and bars. This is also where Dali the famed artist had his residence, which can be visited! We would recommend either of these spots, as well as many other spots on the coast!

Girona is only a 40 minute drive from Castell D'Emporda. It is a super cute town with shopping, food, cafes, bars, and beautiful streets. If you are a Game of Thrones fan like us, Girona was a filming location for many GoT scenes!

Barcelona is about 1.5 hours away from the Castell. Before or after the wedding, spending time here is a great option, as Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Castell D'Emporda has 2 pools, 2 Restaurants, a pool bar, and beautiful grounds. Spend Saturday morning/afternoon relaxing at the venue!

Maissis de Cadiretes is a nature presever in Costa Brava with plenty of hiking and vistas. There are also numerous trails along the coast.

Beautiful golf course with views of the mountains and the Mediterranean sea. There are multiple other courses in the area.

There are numerous beaches along the coast. A few examples: Tamariu is a cliffside beach with great snorkeling. Platja Fonda has great cliff diving. Platja d'Aiguablava has golden sand and beautiful views.
