There are multiple ways to get to the Castell!

By Car:

Fly into Barcelona airport and rent a cart to drive the 1 hr 40 mins to the Castell. There is tons of onsite parking, and we did this drive to confirm that it is a pretty simple route mostly on large roads.

Fly into Girona airport and drive the 30 minutes to the Castell after renting a car. There is tons of onsite parking, and we did this drive to confirm that it is a pretty simple route mostly on large roads.

Fly into Girona airport and get a taxi to the Castell.

By Train:

Fly into Barcelona Airport, take an Uber to Passeig de Gracia train station and catch a train to Girona (the train ride from Barcelona to Girona is about 40 mins)! From there we can arrange a shuttle. We did this route and found it pretty doable as well for those who don't want to drive! If you plan to use this route, text Yvette or Farhad so we know to arrange the shuttle.

After the wedding, we will be staying at the Park Hotel San Jorge in Costa Brava, about 30 mins from Castell D'Emporda. We will be checking in June 8 and checking out June 10.

This hotel has access to two stunning beaches, and is centrally located on the coast and near a town. We would absolutely love to see anyone who wants to stay a bit longer and experience the Costa Brava beauty.

There are two nice hotels next to the Park San Jorge, the Salles Hotel and Spa Cala del Pi. and the Hotel Cap Roig. Both of these are great options as well, within 5 minutes walking of our hotel and access to the same beaches.
